Cult-Favorite Coffee Shop To Open First Location In OC

Must read

ORANGE COUNTY, CA — A coffee chain gaining traction across California is opening its doors at a new location in Orange County.

Known for its long drive-through lines and coffee drinks, Dutch Bros. Coffee announced its plans to open two locations in Fountain Valley. The city approved plans for the stores in March and April, according to staff records.

The chain offers a combination of hot and cold drinks, as well as blended smoothies with no coffee.

While the chain does not sell drip-style coffee, it has acquired a cult-like following for its custom drink menu. Examples include the “Cocomo,” a coconut mocha, the “Double Torture,” an extra double shot vanilla mocha, or a simple espresso with water.

The drive-through store is located in Fountain Valley and open on Friday, Feb. 9, city records show.
