Crimson Tide fans are in for a treat in Week 14 when Jalen Hurts, DeVonta Smith and the Eagles renew their NFC East rivalry with the Cowboys on Sunday Night Football. Then, on Monday Night Football, Tua Tagovailoa and the Dolphins square off with the Titans.
NFL Week 14 prop betting tips: Wager on Jalen Hurts, DeVonta Smith, and Tua Tagovailoa in primetime matchups
Jalen Hurts under 256.5 passing yards (-115 or better)
For the first time this season, Philadelphia hopes to get off the mat following an embarrassing loss. The 49ers smacked the Eagles 42-19 in Week 13 at Lincoln Financial Field, and Hurts had 298 yards and two touchdowns but completed only 58% of his pass attempts.
Rebounding against a Cowboys defense that allows the fifth-lowest passing yards per game is no small task. Dallas is also looking to bounce back after surrendering 35 points in a narrow win over the Seahawks.
When the Eagles and Cowboys met in Week 9, Hurts went for 207 yards and three total touchdowns. This time, the Cowboys have home-field advantage and extra rest after playing on Thursday Night Football in Week 13.
DeVonta Smith anytime touchdown scorer (+180 or better)
In the first half of the season, Smith’s production was up and down due to A.J. Brown’s sensational start. Since Philly’s Week 10 bye, Hurts has given Smith a larger workload and the former Heisman Trophy winner is making the most of it.
Smith has 301 yards and two touchdowns in the last three games, and Brown tallied 159 yards and one score in that timeframe. DeVonta has found the end zone in all but one matchup since Week 8.
Smith has benefited immensely from the extra attention defenses are paying to Brown, and there’s no reason to believe that will change vs. the Cowboys.
Tua Tagovailoa under 32.5 pass attempts (-125 or better)
The Titans-Dolphins matchup has blowout written all over it. Miami hasn’t been impressive vs. quality teams but thoroughly dominates subpar opponents. Plus, the Dolphins host the Monday Night Football showdown at Hard Rock Stadium.
The Phins are riding a three-game win streak, and the Titans have lost four of their last five matchups. Miami is a nearly two-touchdown favorite and should have no problems flexing its muscles.
Watch for the Phins to jump to a big first-half lead, leaving no reason for Tagovailoa to continue slinging the rock. In games that Miami has won by two touchdowns or more, Tua attempted over 32 passes just once.
