Before the forward could make his home debut for Phoenix Suns, the 2-time Champion slipped during the pre-game warmup against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday night. Although he got up after a few seconds and managed to complete his routine, he was ruled out due to soreness in his left ankle. Recently, a video of Durant slipping during the warmup surfaced on the internet.

Phoenix Suns head coach, Monty Williams talked to the reporters regarding Durant’s injury. He said they don’t have anything official to report at the moment, and there will be more tests done for a better understanding of the injury. Williams further added, “He’s out there working his tail off, getting ready for the game and he twists his ankle”. Can’t get frustrated about that. It’s life, you know what I’m saying? I feel bad for him because he feels bad. He feels like – I saw his face and I’ve been around him so many times. I know what he’s feeling.”

Hoop fans are particularly disturbed by the news, showing their displeasure and frustration on Twitter.
