MGM Resorts introduces BetMGM to Dutch market



BetMGM had a fruitful launch in the UK last year and is now looking to repeat that success in the Netherlands.

MGM Resorts International has announced the launch of BetMGM, its iGaming and online sports betting brand, in the Netherlands.

Following its successful entry into the United Kingdom in August of last year, BetMGM is now poised to take on the Dutch market.

BetMGM’s expansion into the Netherlands brings with it a host of new product features that hope to entice Dutch players. These include large-scale jackpots, loyalty rewards, exclusive slot games and sports promotions.

Gary Fritz, President of MGM Resorts International Interactive, stated: “We are thrilled to launch BetMGM in the Netherlands and build on BetMGM’s successful expansion into global markets.

“The Dutch market offers an exciting opportunity and will be an important part of our international expansion efforts and strategy to become a global gaming leader.”

Gustaf Hagman, Group CEO at LeoVegas Group, added: “Our launch in the UK was tremendously successful, and we eagerly anticipate bringing the golden Vegas experience to the Netherlands.

“This launch in the Dutch market is an important step in our international expansion, but we have much more in store.”

Hagman also spoke with Gambling Insider earlier this year at ICE 2024. During the interview, Hagman offered a detailed account of the company’s desire to bring the “Las Vegas approach” to the UK market – an approach that the company will now look to repeat in the Netherlands.
